Raj and Padma Vattikuti founded the Vattikuti Foundation in 1997. The Vattikuti Urology Institute, established by the Foundation, is a premier center of robotic surgery in the world. The Foundation extended its operations in India in 2010 to establish high quality robotic surgery at prices affordable to patients in all income groups.

The Four 1-year Vattikuti Robotic Fellowships are :

1. Urology

MCh or DNB in Urology,

Urology & Renal Transplantation,

Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi.

2. Oncological Surgery

MCh or DNB in Surgical Oncology,

Deptt of Surgical Oncology,

Manipal Hospital, Bengaluru.

3.  Head & Neck Surgery

MCh or DNB in Surgical Oncology or ENT. Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, New Delhi.

4. Gynecological Surgery

MS/MD or DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology,

Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi.

Fellowships exclusively for robotic surgery. Those who are likely to have access to Surgical Robots upon completion of Fellowship are encouraged to apply.

Mail applications to scholar@vattikutifoundation.com giving updated Resume, cover letter giving Fellowship specialization, reasons for applying, contact details-current address, email, phone, hometown--by July 15, 2016. Do not apply directly to the institution.

Remuneration for the Fellowship and other details will match current rules and regulations of the participating institution.

Vattikuti Foundation and Sponsor Institution representatives will participate in the judging and the Sponsor Institution's decision will be final.
